It's easy to create a Promoted Videos account and begin advertising on YouTube. Follow the checklist for your account type below for help with the setup process.
Visit the sign-up page
Get started by visiting http://ads.youtube.com. Then click Add Promoted Videos to my YouTube Account now!
Submit billing information
Billing information must be added to your Google Account to use YouTube Promoted Videos. Your account will not be active and your ads won't run until after you provide billing details.
If you create a new AdWords account during the sign up process for Promoted Videos, there will be a
$5 account activation fee.
Set your budget
Your daily budget is the amount that you're willing to spend on your entire Promoted Video account each day.

Link an existing Google Account to your YouTube account
To link your Google Account to your YouTube account, follow the steps below:
- Sign in to your Google Account under the "Link Accounts" section here.
- Enter your existing YouTube username and password in the same Link Accounts section.
- Click the Link Accounts button.
- You'll be signed in and redirected to the YouTube homepage (http://www.youtube.com).
- Click the My Account link in the top right.
- Under "Account Settings," if you see the "Unlink YouTube and Google Accounts" link, you've successfully linked your Google Account with your YouTube Account.
