I had the exact same complaint but in the area of Feedback and
Suggestions. I had 4 videos I posted with different songs that were
all removed so I ended up uploading some that have no ownership with
WMG and used some of youtubes. yet those very songs I originally used
are on literally hundreds of videos which I am sure that those snot

I'm having trouble finding the option for reporting one person, making
'multiple' ID's and spamming hundreds of videos regarding the same
topic (The FairTax).

I've reported the user to youtube (of course the standard response is
'block him/her) but new ID's are made and the spamming continues.

But the law works both ways! What to YOU might be opinions you don't
like are backed astronomically by free speech on the other person's
side. YouTube is not here to make judgements on what types of
opinions they like or don't like! There's a damn good reason YouTube
doesn't "take down anything beyond which they're legally liable for,"

It was a really recent upgrade, so I'm sure they're still working out
the bugs. I'm just like you it's the most annoying thing in the world
(I'd six star your post if I could), so I'm sure a lot of other people
will complain about it eventually... Give YouTube the credit that

i doubt that YT cares, beyond what may make them legally liable..other
than that, i, personally, think it's something of a good idea that
it's not easy to 'report' a user..in my personal experience, there are
far too many crackpost out there looking to make trouble for someone
who simply disagrees with whatever opinion they have about a video or

Is there ANY way to turn the Annotations Editor OFF?

I have started uploading some videos and every single time that I view
one, for whatever reason, I have to MANUALLY switch off the Annotation
Editor junk that shows up in the lower left corner.

Is there ANY way to turn that off so that NONE of my own videos come
up with that editor?

I can't seem to find ANY way to do that when I'm logged in.

You can flag individual videos for hate speech. Every time a video is
removed, it counts as a strike against that account. On the third
strike, the account is disabled; sometimes sooner, if the content is
particularly nasty.

Some users upload content that is clearly false, or purely meant to

YouTube does not need a button to lower and raise the lights, it could
be a hidden feature for every video page. Personally I think the F1
key should lower the lights and F2 should raise them.

Absolutely fake!! It is spam. It is not even in good English.
Click the "Mark as Spam" link on any mail like this. YouTube would
never need users to foreward their mail for them :-) Also note that
the bulletin system was dropped some time ago. YouTube would not ask
you to post a bulletin!!

If the uploader has uploaded a video with content that is not
licensed
to your country (e.g. a lot of music is not licensed in several
European countries) or the video contains material
that is illegal in your country but maybe not in other countries
(e.g.
old Nazi Propaganda videos where you can see the svatiska).

I agree, if you have a 1gb rule who cares how long it is. Another
reason why one would think that the 10 min rule is secondary to the
1GB rule,it is not piratical.

True, but language is pretty much a linear thing, unless it is poetry.
So, although not specifically there is an implied "And" between "up to
10 min" and "up to 1GB" rather than an "or". Your alternate way of
stating it is less ambiguous, but, anyhow now you know what they meant
to say.

Videos That Aren't Available in My Country

Streams problem

Sometimes when I go to Streams, it says that there are no active
streams, but when I click on "Create A New Stream," it says that there
are too many active streams. Can someone tell me how to fix this

Yes, and it also says "UP TO 1GB" so with your/their logic I should be
able to upload any video under 1GB. The verbiage in their instructions
is ambiguous .

* Capture and Upload in High Definition!
* Upload up to 10 videos at a time
* Best video formats for YouTube
* Up to 1 GB in size.

Well, that is what a 10 minute limit means, I think very few people
would think that meant a lower limit. Actually what it says is up to
10 minutes, pretty hard to misinterpret that.

10 min it does not state no bigger than or no longer than. anyone no
were I can put some longer videos up? I spent all night compressing

Please remember it can take several hours until any change will be
indexed to the search engine. This includes new videos, changes of
title/description/tags as same as deleted videos or videos set from
public to private. So your videos will be a few hours still available
in the search but if you click at them then you will get the

The reason for that is that you cannot be a partner if you infringe
copyright law. Partner videos are vetted before they even go public,
so if you do see partner videos with third-party material in them,
they have permission to use it (or if they don't, they risk losing
their partner status, which I have see happen in a couple of cases).

It's money that what matters. Videos that were taken down are usually
not partners. The reason youtube doesn't take down any of these other
higher viewed videos because they have a business deal with the owner
of the videos. The question is that why would youtube defend the
partners when EMI is a larger, more powerful business then a partner?

can be indexed by Google (and most search engines, in fact).

penguinlovesuper your old account is closed and the videos are
gone. It will take a few days for the search engine to refresh all
its store of inforation and remove the links. The links in the mean
time should produce the message "This video has been removed by the
user" Don't panic!!
