Hey-ho!
I live off Youtube and, like a good subscriber to other users'
activity (20+ let's say) with a job and a life outside the ether, I
have in no way enough time to keep up with the daily updates (for
"heavy" posters like universities and directors for instance).
What does everyone think of adding new functionality - let's say
"Interest" - alongside "Favourites" - which would keep some flagged
items in a holding bay for, let's say, 5 days and then automatically
delete them (saving server space - this would cost Google obviously)?
This would not require an extra selectable "box" on the "logged-in"
homepage - it would make it waaaaay to busy with boxes (unless one
would want to remove other ones.... anyway I digress....).
At the mo if I glance upon something that interests me amongst my
subscriptions I will "favourite" it and then perhaps go back, watch
it, then delete it off favourites (no big deal but the extra
functionality would be cool) and would avoid any extra "favourite-
cleansing" for those who chance upon something that MIGHT interest
them and wish to flag it to themselves.
Would love your thoughts.

It was kind of difficult to understand what you meant...but I think I
got it...
Basically just a temp bookmark system? Yeah, I've been talking about
that for a while myself...I don't want to favorite a video, but I want
to come back and watch it later. I think instead of saying 'interest'
it would be better as 'remind later' or just 'remind' or maybe
'remember'

Yeah, that's exactly it - I tried to think about a simple way of
explaining it but just ended up waffling on. "Temporary Reminder",
"Remind Later" or "Remember" would be good.
