The view counter has been an issue for me and many YouTube members,
for me personally it has been a week since the view counter has been
frozen.
My video was doing fine and I believe last Wednesday or Thursday my
views froze. It has been almost a WEEK now and the view counter is
still frozen.
Another question is some channels have no impact on this and their
views get counted fine, also my older videos still get their views
counted, but any video I uploaded (only 2) 1 last week froze, I
uploaded another video again yesterday, but that video view has been
frozen as well.
I want to know what is going on with this issue because many people
have had this problem for weeks and have gotten no insight or
response
about this. This is not fair at all for the users that make YouTube
what it is today. Please at least respond to us because if we are
patient any longer nothing will happen. It's been almost a week now,
just simply tell us what is wrong with the views on videos not
increasing come on.

youtube...nothing, just like the view counters. What is going on and

if youtube don't fix the (View Counter Frozen) problem immediately, i
think many peple will delete their video, include me !!
Well I have a very little good news. After being froze for a week
since 10;30 this morning I have picked up 14 new views. Before it
froze I was getting 250 per day. At this rate I may not live to see
all my views return. My other video is still stuck at 202.

Mine has also begun to move, but very slowly! And it looks like all
the hits I got for the days it was frozen are lost.

Many people's video views are freezing around 200. Mine is stuck at
203.
It's pretty embarrassing for someone to look at my videos and see 203
views on one.
It's even more embarrassing that YouTube is not addressing this to
anyone!

Not only are my views stuck at 207 (Yes, I noticed that 200 seems to
be the UNlucky number), but my subs are also frozen now, too.
I'm receiving email notification of new users, but of the 25+ subs
I've received over the past two days, only a handful are showing up in
my Subscription counter on my page.
What's the deal?
So frustrating!

It is a funny thing, My views have been stuck for a month. Now youtube
is taking the money you earn and I earn and it seems like they are
about to charge us money for the veiw counter.See They get you to sign
on the dotted line to be a partner, your videos get the hits and they
get the money.....The freezing of the counter is merely away to get
the major portion of the money up front, then they turn you back on
after a week or so after they collect the money and then you get some
when the hits slow down but then you still have to pay them the same
amount....See. In Hollywood we call this "Pinching the Baggy".....I
suggest people go to another site that has less restrictions not owned
by major corporations and their money making schemes....When google
bought them out the "Dream" went with it.....Bobby Lento....

Most of my videos have been stuck at the same number for at least 9
days? What do you mean slowed down?
One of my videos is on the main page of the San
Francisco Bart Heavy Rail, the Phoenix Light Rail and the San Diego
Light Rail. Then it's also the only video on the music sites for the
rail systems. It's also the article on their main page News Link for
Phoenix.
I didn't ask them to put my videos up, but they really liked it and
asked if they could use it on their sites? I was pretty excited and I
was getting thousands of views a day. Now it's been 10 days at the
same exact count. They keep contacting me to tell me it is still
stuck.
I keep telling them that I've complained and everyone else on youtube
is complaining too.
The light rail company was kind enough to choose my video, when
mine wasn't the only option. It's not just me interested in the view
counts,
they use their site for advertising and when people go to it they see
I haven't
had a view in ten days.
Now they put a Headline on the video that says:
(Video is available - just busy). That's because half the time you
click on it the video says unavailable and people are contacting the
Light Rail system.

I'm new to uploading videos, so it's discouraging when this happens.
If you can't tell how many people are watching, then what's really the
point? Why take the time to upload videos in the first place?
My question, is once the counter starts working again, what happens to
all of those lost views? I guess YouTube really doesn't care.
This problem needs to be addressed. For me it's not a life or death
matter.. I just want to know how many people saw my best man speech..
But for a lot of people, like Whitney (who posted before me), there's
money involved. So if you're going to offer this website, then you
need to make sure it's ran properly.
