I'm getting the same error when I try to change my channel's
background.

I choose the background image and Youtube seems uploaded it. But I
can't click button "Update channel". I'm using Firefox and when I open
the Error Console I get the following error:

"Error: uncaught exception: Permission denied to get property
HTMLDocument.getElementsByName"

I think there is some JavaScript issue. I think you may use
getElementById instead getElementsByName.

Two friends of mine tried this change on Internet Explore and got an
JavaScript error.
