It can be anything really - if you were using FF - I'd say that's the
culprit. But since you're not - it could be that you're being censored
from some place along the www highway - and even hijacked. You need to
see what's running in your app box and remove anything that doesn't
belong there. For an idea of what you're up against check -

Download and follow instructions.

Then check to see if you're using the latest flash plugin. Uninstall
and reinstall that. Then run a registry cleaner. Make sure your
machine is a clean one. Spyware, malware and useless files included in
the clean.
