I'm also having the same issue, I don't know what to do, I tried
contacting youtube via a form on their site, it just asked for my
email and name, never asked me to submit what the issue was so I have
no clue on how to contact them.

I too am having this problem. Saw in another forum that someone
screwed up an update and this would be addressed, but unclear if the
answer was actually from someone at youtube.
As epontius correctly mentioned earlier in this thread, the situation
has been brought up with the team on this end, and they're currently
looking into the matter. Thanks so much for your patience in the
meantime :)
... and thanks for coming by the Help Forums and reporting the issue!
Really glad that you did.

I've seen this issue mentioned on here for several weeks.
Instead of just looking into it, can you actually fix it?
Have you just got bigger fish to fry and don't care?
Seems to me whenever some service like YouTube is really, really big
(or like here in New York, the subway system or Time Warner Cable),
they seem to think that gives them permission for some of the
functions not to work some of the time.
I know a YouTube account is free,
but don't you think this thing not working can have at least a small
impact on future YouTube revenue coming in?

ya know. I look forum after forum to post my topic (just to be sure I
don't repeat anything that has been previously posted and get treated
like an asshole for not searching the 5 million help forums)...and on
near every forum there goes your name being condescending and
belittling people who are not the savvy ones on youtube and who don't
whack off to this website all day with every ounce of their being.
Why do you feel the need to be such a prick?
