Can someone please explain to me why one of our videos was taken down?

Our channel is a comedy/parody channel involving puppets.  We had our
puppets lip synch an old gospel song.  It was not sexual or offensive,
just extremely bizarre (and hopefully amusing) seeing puppets parody a
gospel band (we even had puppet sized guitars.)

So what's the deal?  Why was the vid taken down?

If the video is still listed under 'My Videos', it should give a
reason of some kind as to why the video is no longer live.

I'm guessing you will see either, "Rejected", or "Matched third party
content".

I guess some sad bastard found it to be offensive, flagged it and YT
staff agreed.
