In fact, the ads are there not just for the partners, but primarily
for YouTube, a service which runs, by every analyst's calculations, at a massive loss. Yes, YouTube is owned by Google; but YouTube is run as a separate company with its own finances. The alternative would be to introduce a membership fee. You must Sign in before you can post messages.
