Subject: Re: advertisements on you tube for underage kids
Youtube is used as a source of videos for People all over the world.

Yesterday our english teacher showed us part 2 of a bill clinton
speech on the beamer....

do u think teachers will continue using youtube if suddenly an ad pops
up "Meet Japanese Beauties now" wW...w . japanes.e - Cup.id. com? (i
am not sure if links are allowed so i post it in this form)

Do u think responsible parents will allow their children to visit
youtube after that?

Do u think strictly religious people will continue using this site?

if less ppl visit youtube the site will get less ads/less money

What we seriously need is a way to turn those annotations off...

and minors should not use the internet unsupervised ever? i am 17 and
still a minor...
but even if u are talking about younger children (lets say 12 or 13
years)....

I wonder if u somehow have lost touch to reality.... all over the
world THOUSANDS of minor persons use the internet unsupervised! while
youtube cant do anything about those minors using other sites it could
at least try to keep DRUGS AND PORNOGRAPHY OUT OF ITS OWN ADS!

and putting ads directly into videos... u dont need to do that....
u can PUT THOSE ADS EVERYWHERE ELSE!
they are especially unnerving because they are exactly where subtitles
are supposed to be...
