I'm still a newbie here at YouTube.
But I just want to say, I'm so thrilled
and grateful for this service.
There are vids here that I never thought
I'd ever see again in my lifetime.
Richard Marx's performance at the
American Music awards back in '89
and how to do things tutorials.
It's amazing to me.

Is it legal to download youtube videos?

Basically, YouTube doesn't go on search-and-destroy missions for
videos they think may be in violation of copyright: considering that
in the time it took you to write your post, enough videos were
uploaded to YouTube to keep you watching for more than a day, it
simply wouldn't be possible.

I would like to upload a video to youtube that's to make other people
aware of my Weakest Link forum and to get more members on it.

However, I'm not sure whether its allowed, but to avoid trouble, I
thought I'd post a question here about it, because I'm not sure
whether it would be regarded as spam or not.

I do realise that by posting our videos with music from bands and not
having permission from those bands or rather those who own the
copyright, will be knocked off youtube. I have posted 4 videos in the
past week and all I have to alter secondary to this protocol. Okay,

itrashvideos got banned, and it banned also mistercleav0 for no

When YouTube disables the audio of a video that contains content owned
or licensed by a copyright holder, YouTube used to tell the owner of
the video what content was matched. Now, YouTube does not state the
content but merely says it is "content owned or licensed by [entity]."

I applaud youtube.com for letting me know when I get a reply to one of
my comments on a video, but all too often I end up having to fish
through comments left 7 months ago to find the one that I recently
posted.

My suggestion would be that youtube send me a copy of my comment and
the reply that was recently posted to me, just to avoid me having to

I agree with your complaints about the inability to sort favorites.
I've written a program using the YouTube API that allows viewers to
sort videos or favorites on any channel by many criteria. If you go
to my website, www plus theBestArts plus com, you'll see a menu item

I love the csv download feature - and look forward to being able to
analyze by multiple videos.

Is there a list anywhere of the Region abbreviations? This is a very
important feature for me, but only if I can understand which region is
which.
