Dear Liz,

I'm desperately finding out why sori1004jy 's account has been
suspended. But my posts elsewhere do not seem to get answered. I'm so
addicted to her videos that I'll definitely suffer severe withdrawal
reactions if this problem is not resolved soon! Please help! Thanks.

.

Liz,

You should include a notice on eveyones homepage that new updates/
releases
have taken place..inluding the date...with a link to the blog article
or forum-article.

Or a simple button [YT-Updates 1 may] that can be clicked for more
details.

This seems so obvious that i'm amazed that no-one thought of that.
Specially since my experience is that updates always cause new bugs
(yesterdays one caused 3 severe ones)

As a matter of fact. i'd prefer no updates anymore please
After months of complaining embedded playlist stil dont work OK
They get repaired...next update different bugs
So pleae skip the updates ...thank you

Liz why dont you also tell us that the playlists when embedded
now only play 50 videos instead of the 200 that you say that
is the max length of a playlist ?

Why is nothing said about that..and how can you do such a thing anyway
destroying my 1000's hours of work...just like that ?

And why dont you respond when you yourself ask for "your thoughts"
so i give my thoughts..and ask for a response..but dont get it.
Dont ask me for responses if you never reply to them.

This forum is such a useless fake...one-way-street
I have nothing positive to say about it ....buuuuh

Liz, I will put this as simple as possible. Youtube is crumbling and
the updates are the cause. Youtube's excuse for the freezing of views
of many Small channel's videos was that people were artificially
making their view counts higher. Youtube's excuse for the change in
the homepage's sections where they replaced the names of most viewed,
most rated, and etc. with spotlight videos, featured videos, videos
being watched now and most popular was that they wanted us to have a
new perspective on videos with attractive titles. Youtube's excuse for
the removal of the bulletins for the recent activity section in the
user's channel was that people were complaining about them with chain
letters and other complaints. Youtube's crowning achievement was the
updates of April 16, 2009. Youtube's excuse for that update that they
wanted us to experience fine quality videos. Youtube is propagandizing
these updates for they truly are, ways to gain money. Money is the
simple equation in which all businesses thrive and communicate with.
Many of the view counts of Youtube's Small channels are suffering from
less recognition because of youtube manipulating the traffic growth
channel's like Fred to gain money from advertisements. Its because of
Youtube's incompetency to negotiate deals is why companies like WMG
and Viacom are having their way and pulling down unpopular videos that
contain content that they own. Youtube's strategy was to get rid of
the bulletins to disable our ability to share our content to everyone.
Youtube took away the old homepage to manipulate videos they decide to
go on the page so they can earn revenue from the advertisements on
those videos. And I'm not expecting a reply from you because you
basically work for youtube. This whole aspect of replying to the
community is to show that youtube want people to think that they care
for the people's issues. They don't care for any of your issues. They
do all this for their best interest, not yours. All youtube cares
about and listen to is money. And money does talk.

Liz, A few features I really really want that anyone would benefit
from:

1.) The ability to search within a users favorites, including your
own!
2.) Folders for favorites!  I have over 700 favorites and there is no
way to organize them!
3.) Else, the ability to attach more then 3 playlists to your youtube
homepage.  I could use playlists to organize my favorites, but only 3
playlists is a severe limitation

YOUTUBE needs to make an agreement with the music companys or
advertise for them so we dont have all this copyright crap on all our
videos with songs, there is no point of YOUTUBE if we cant listen to
our favorite videos and songs. PLEASE do something about it, EVERYONE
is getting pissed of over it. This is causing Alot Of people to leave
youtube. If Anyone agrees with this, copy and paste it and  lets see
if we can get alot of people to do it so they will do something abvout
it.

Protonus,

I agree with your complaints about the inability to sort favorites.
I've written a program using the YouTube API that allows viewers to
sort videos or favorites on any channel by many criteria.  If you go
to my website, www plus theBestArts plus com, you'll see a menu item
called "Tool" on the far right of the horizontal menu.  Click on that
and give it a try - I think it will do most of what you want.

Best, Kevin
