Twice today, I accidentally "rated" videos when all I meant to do was
to click the pause button. I rated the first video with 2 stars, the
second one with 1 star as these are the stars positioned directly
under the pause button. Based on the number of people who rated these
videos, the accidental low rating distorts the perception of the
genuine quality of content.
YouTube should lock all 5 stars until a button is clicked on
indicating that one truly wants to rate a video.
