one thing that everyone on youtube has noticed is the rampant abuse of
grammar, spelling and logic. youtube is probably the single best
example of the internet age making the bastardization of language
acceptable.
but something occurred to me today. the comment boxes are so small
(requiring users to scroll up and down to read even 5 of text) that
after a few posts in a row, even i am tempted not to bother reviewing
my post before i submit it.
maybe the reason that people aren't thinking about what they comment
is that they find it too troublesome to scroll over their whole
comment before posting.
if so, enlarging the comment box may help. this forum message box, for
example, is large enough to accommodate a nice long post which i can
review and edit at my leisure until i decide to submit it.
just a thought, thanks.
