post personal information about yourself or others. No YouTube
representative will ever ask for this information in Forum postings.

3. Stay on topic.
Start a new post for questions or comments on other topics instead of
changing the topic within a post. This will help highlight your
question or comment and make it easier to follow.

4. Be nice to newbies.
Many new YouTubers come here for advice. Please be patient and
courteous with everyone, especially those who are just getting
started. You were a beginner once too!

1. Before you post a new question, search or browse for the answer
within the Forum, and/or in the YouTube Help Center. Your question may
have been asked and answered before.

2. Signatures to posts can become repetitive and make the thread hard
to read. If you must use a signature, please keep it short and sweet.
